Jeanette MacDonald — The Hollywood Beauty
Jeanette MacDonald was a red-headed Soprano who lit up the screen and helped usher in the sound era. She began her film career in early Paramount musicals, often alongside Maurice Chevalier. At the height of her popularity, she was staring in MGM Operettas. She did eight films with Nelson Eddy and was adept at everything from high drama to screwball comedy.
